Austin Advanced Practice Nurses

 

The Austin Area Nurse Practitioner Alliance was organized in 1986 to address the professional needs of local practitioners. In 2003, the organization was renamed Austin Advanced Practice Nurses Organization to reflect a broader mission. Click here for more information.


 

Brazos Valley Nurse Practitioner Association

 

The Brazos Valley Nurse Practitioner Association is a local affiliate of the Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP). Our purpose is to advance support, and promote the role of the nurse practitioner (NP) and to promote accessible, quality nurse practitioner provided health care to our area residents. Membership is available to advanced practice nurses recognized by the state of Texas Board of Nursing as NPs. Associate members are either non-NP advanced practice nurses (e.g. CRNAs) or post graduate level nurses interested in advancing BVNPA purpose and goals. Brazosport Area Nurse Practitioners

 

Brazosport Area Nurse Practitioners (BANP) is a new and growing TNP affiliate that serves Southern Brazoria County, Matagorda County, Wharton County and other rural areas within our region.

We hold quarterly business meetings in February, May, August, and November as well as monthly or bimonthly educational and networking opportunities. Our meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Lake Jackson area.

Our mission is to promote a community of commitment and excellence among Brazosport Area Nurse Practitioners through the provision of resources, leadership and networking opportunities. We aspire to B-build relationships with our communities, A-advocate for our patients and our profession, N-nurture our patients, ourselves and our future NPs, P-promote professionalism in all we do.

Central Texas Nurse Practitioners

CTNP (Central Texas Nurse Practitioners) is a professional organization that represents Advanced Practice Nurses in Central Texas. CTNP encourages networking at both state and national levels, and strives to provide educational and professional development among its members. Coastal Bend Nurse Practitioners

The Coastal Bend Advanced Practice Nurse group was organized in November of 2010 to improve the health of our communities through:

  1. Promoting professional standards and quality of practice through education and mentoring activities.
  2. Fostering our NP professional community to support professional identity and community awareness of advance practice registered nurses.
  3. Raising awareness of area population healthcare issues and APRN regulatory issues through grassroots advocacy.

The group meets monthly - alternating sites between Corpus Christi and outlying areas. Non-members and students are welcome to all meeting. East Texas Nurse Practitioners Association

The East Texas Nurse Practitioner Association (ETNP) is a professional association devoted to the support and advocacy for all nurse practitioners. Our mission is to assist nurse practitioners in the delivery of quality, accessible and affordable healthcare for the citizens of East Texas, as well as, maximize our network of advanced practice providers while fostering an atmosphere of values that include honesty, integrity, reliability and respect. ETNP is an affiliate of the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association.

El Paso Area Advanced Practice Nurses

The purpose of the El Paso Area Advanced Practice Nurses is to unite all the advanced practice nurses in the El Paso area in advancing the profession, as well as promoting continuing education and keep APNs abreast of job opportunities, opportunity for involvement within the community and to important legislatives issues that impact them. Fort Worth Region Nurse Practitioners

Greater Texas Chapter of NAPNAP

The Greater Texas Chapter NAPNAP (GTX-NAPNAP) is a professional organization of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (PNPs) who work throughout Texas in a myriad of settings. PNPs provide care from birth to twenty-one years of age; in hospitals, emergency rooms, in hospital intensive care units, private offices, and a variety of clinic settings. They may provide primary care, specialty care and intensive care for children throughout Texas.

Hill Country Nurse Practitioners Association

Houston Area Nurse Practitioners

Houston Area Nurse Practitioners (HANP) is a dynamic, growing professional organization whose membership is comprised of registered nurses prepared as advanced practice nurses. North Texas Nurse Practitioners

NTNP is dedicated to serving the interests of nurse practitioners (NPs) in North Texas, regardless of their specialty. NTNP is recognized as an affiliate member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP) and also as an affiliate organization of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). San Antonio Nurses in Advanced Practice

San Antonio Nurses in Advance Practice (SANAP) formed in the 1990s. SANAP is a multi-specialty group of advanced practice nurses consisting of Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Anesthetists, and Nurse-Midwives. This group has over 250 members. As an affiliate member of Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (ANCC), we actively support all efforts to advance the role of the nurse practitioner through full practice authority. As advance practice practitioners, we advocate health promotion, disease and injury prevention, cure, rehabilitation, and support to our patients. Using our full scope of practice, we diagnose and treat patients according to established practice guidelines. We are committed to meeting the healthcare needs of our community, including the underserved and veteran population, by supporting local advanced nurse practitioners with health-related events and promote the education of our members by offering annual academic scholarships. South Plains Nurse Practitioners Association

South Plains Nurse Practitioners Association (SPNPA) provide Primary Health Care through their work with individuals, families, groups and communities. They provide health services in health promotion, disease and injury prevention, cure, rehabilitation and support. Nurse practitioners, using their full scope of practice, will diagnose and assist client responses to actual and potential health problems, in order to promote wellness. NPs take into account the health care needs, abilities and resources available to the client. They manage common and complex diseases in collaboration with the client and directly and indirectly with the physician and other members of the health care team. Valley Advanced Practice Nurse Association

VAPNA is open to each category of advanced practice nurses including Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Midwives, and Nurse Anesthetists. VAPNA invests in the future of NP students by providing annual scholarships.
