Emily S. Eastin

Chief Executive Officer

Emily S. Eastin is the Chief Executive Officer of Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP). She joined TNP as Executive Director in October of 2007. Previously, Emily was the Assistant Executive Director at the Columbus Bar Association in Columbus, Ohio. She had been at the Columbus Bar since September of 2001 where she had also served as Director of Communications and Membership. Before joining the Columbus Bar Association, Emily worked at the State Bar of Michigan for three years. Prior to that, she worked as a communication specialist at Central States of Omaha (a health and life insurance company) in Omaha, Nebraska. A proud Cornhusker, Emily attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.

Erin Cusack

Director of Government Affairs

Erin has a wide range of public affairs and grassroots advocacy experience at the state, national, and international levels. Prior to coming to TNP, she worked as a Policy Analyst for State Representative Eddie Rodriguez of Travis County, where she served as the health care policy analyst and liaison to the Women’s Health Caucus.  From 2011-2013, she also worked as a Public Policy and Community Engagement Coordinator for the maternal-child health non-profit Maternity Care Coalition in Philadelphia, where she managed advocacy campaigns on issues such as health care reform and access to maternity services. She graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a degree in Political Science and has a Master’s in Global Policy Studies from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at UT-Austin.

Constance "Connie" Rentz

Community Engagement Coordinator

Connie Rentz is the Community Engagement Coordinator for TNP, joining the team in October of 2021. She graduated from Southwest Texas State University (San Marcos, TX) in May of 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Previous to TNP, Connie worked with families and other professionals in the child welfare system in her roles as family group conference facilitator and investigator with Child Protective Services, an agency under the Department of Family and Protective Services. Prior to her days with CPS, Connie worked for Marbridge Foundation, a non-profit organization, where she fulfilled the duties as the administrative assistant to the president, in which she managed database, maintained website content, and assisted with fundraising, client recruitment, and marketing for the company. Additionally while at Marbridge, for four summers she planned and implemented the company's summer camp program, one of the major recruiting efforts for the organization.

Bella Stewart

Education Manager

Bella Stewart is the Education Manager for TNP. She joined the TNP team in November of 2017. Isabella graduated from Texas State University (San Marcos, Texas) in May of 2015 with a Bachelors in Business Management and her Masters degree in Legal Studies from Texas State in May of 2018. During the year in between her degrees, she was the Administrative Assistant for Super-Krete working on sales, purchases, inventory, and training courses for contractors all over the world. Isabella has coordinated volunteer events to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation and has experience working and planning TNP fall and spring conferences.
