The Piney Woods Advanced Practice Nurses Association is a local affiliate of the Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP). Our purpose is to promote the professional standards and practice of advanced practice nurses through continuing education; to foster and support the identity of advance practice nurses in northeast Texas; and to promote the interests of advanced practice nurses in northeast Texas. Membership is available to advanced practice registered nurses recognized by the state of Texas Board of Nursing. We also encourage student membership and meeting attendance as an opportunity to network and learn about the organizing processes required to advance practice registered nurses locally.
