Dr. Ethany Howden, DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Dr. Howden is a family nurse practitioner with almost a decade of experience as an advanced practice nurse in the primary care setting. She currently teaches full time at Baylor University with an active clinical practice in primary care. Ethany’s area of scholarship is preparing advanced practice nurses for clinical practice and improving rural healthcare in Texas.
Dr. Halli Carr, DNP, APRN, ACNP-BC
Dr. Carr is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience as an advanced practice nurse in inpatient settings. She currently runs an inpatient cardiovascular service line. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing in the graduate school at Baylor University. Dr. Carr’s areas of research interest include medical missions, management of critically-ill patients, and student engagement.
Learner Outcomes:
1. Learner will increase their knowledge of nursing coding and billing principles and be able to apply these principles to professional nursing practice.
2. Learner will report a change in practice related to the knowledge learned during the presentation.

Learners will be awarded 2 Contact Hours. Completion of the course and evaluation are required.
