Presenter:  Dr. Angela Stewart, DNP, APRN, ACNP-BC, AOCNP, TTS
Dr. Stewart has taught in the DNP program at the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing as adjunct faculty in the summer of 2020 and started full-time as the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Coordinator in May of 2021. Specializing in acute care and oncology, she teaches students through online lectures, on campus immersions, and in clinical settings. Her lectures are informed by many years of professional experience practicing as an acute care NP in hematology and oncology where she still practices at Highlands Oncology Group in Fayetteville, AR.

Learner Outcome:
The aim of this continuing education activity is for learners to increase awareness, knowledge, and practice on how to manage high-risk patients utilizing lung cancer screening guidelines for early detection in order to improve patient outcomes when lung cancer is amenable to surgical excision and possible cure. These learning outcomes will be measured by learners scoring 80% or higher on the post-test.

Accreditation:
Learners will be awarded 1 Contact Hour. Completion of the course and evaluation are required.
