The Mountain Model (MM) is an NP-led framework that integrates research as the foundation of evidence-based practice and quality improvement and provides a systematic process that moves from research to its application in practice with continuous monitoring to ensure the highest quality care. This presentation will showcase how to integrate the MM with a newly developed EBPQI critical appraisal tool with NP education and practice application.

1. Promote awareness of the challenges and unmet population healthcare needs impacted by a lack of sustained Evidence-Based Practice (EBP).
2. Provide practical guidance for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to engage in evidence-informed initiatives guided by the MM in practice, policy and programmatic evaluation.
3). Practice use of the MM with a new open access Critical Appraisal Tool framed by the MM.
