Presenter: John Gonzalez, DNP, APRN, ACNP-BC, ANP-C, CNE
John Gonzalez is a dual licensure and certified Acute Care Nurse and Adult Nurse Practitioner. He completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice at Texas Woman’s University in 2010 and his Master’s in Nursing at Stony Brook University in 2004. He currently teaches full time at the University of Texas at Tyler in the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program. He maintains a part-time practice with the hospitalist service at Parkland Health and has his own telemedicine practice, Holistic Integrative Health, where he practices functional medicine. He presents and publishes on nurse practitioner scope of practice and serves as a legal consultant on RN and APRN scope of practice. He has been a member of Texas Nurse Practitioners since 2003 and a legacy member since 2016.
